Terms of Service
Last updated: March 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Fileora.
1. Overview and Acceptance
Fileora provides in-browser tools to convert, inspect, compress, and edit files. By visiting or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should stop using the site.
Unlike traditional online converters, Fileora operates directly on your device. The code runs inside your web browser using WebAssembly and standard JavaScript APIs. We do not operate conversion servers that receive or store your files.
2. Your Files and Intellectual Property
You retain complete ownership of any files you open with Fileora, as well as the converted output files. Because your files stay in your browser memory and are never uploaded to our servers, we do not claim any copyright, license, or property rights over your data.
You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right or permission to convert and modify the files you process. Do not use Fileora to infringe on copyright, trade secrets, or other legal rights.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
Fileora is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
File format specifications can be complex. While we work hard to keep conversions accurate, we cannot guarantee that every conversion will preserve every layout detail, macro, embedded font, or proprietary structure. You are responsible for verifying your converted files before deleting original copies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fileora and its operators are not liable for any data loss, business interruption, or direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this website.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Fileora for any unlawful purpose. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, inject harmful scripts, circumvent security controls, or place unreasonable strain on our hosting infrastructure.
Automated scraping or mass automated requests that burden the static hosting infrastructure without prior written permission are prohibited.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.
